Grace of Calvary Lutheran Church After School Care was established in 2011 to compliment the well-established and excellent Preschool
Program here at Grace, and as a service to the families and children of the community. Our staff of highly qualified teachers offers
fun age-appropriate activities which include; homework time, music, games, arts and crafts, science and discovery. Our foundation
comes from God's Love, Loving others and being loved unconditionally.
Our program is to provide a safe, stimulating and happy
environment in a caring, loving and Christian setting which allows children to interact freely with each other. Each day we will offer
a snack, homework time and recreation time. The goal is to have our after school program provides a setting that complements both
home and school. We encourage frequent and open communication with parents which provides support and a well-balanced program.
Cullen, Sellers, LaFetra and Sutherland are the schools we pick up from.

Hello,
My name is Anna Marie Hill and I have been with Grace of Calvary Lutheran Church’s After School Program since it began. I
consider it a blessing and an honor to be the program’s Director. Before my employment at Grace, I had worked with children
in a Preschool setting and with school age children for over 15 years. I have my Child Development Credential in early childhood
education as well as a degree in Illustration.
I have 2 boys. One lives with us and goes to college and the other lives in New Jersey
and works for a police department. My husband is a Lutheran Pastor in Temple City.
I realize that entrusting your child to our program is a tremendous responsibility and I will do my best to ensure that each student has a safe and motivating learning experience in a caring and loving environment. However, I cannot do this without the help of you, the parents. We are partners in the learning process. With your help we will have a group of students who are confident in their abilities to achieve and know that they are a gift from God.
Hi Everyone,
My name is Mandy Donohoe. I have been a teacher for the after school program since we opened the program almost two years ago. I am 20 years old and in my third year of college
at Citrus, Glendora. I plan to transfer to a University next fall 2013.
I love working with young children and appreciate this opportunity to help make the after school program at Grace a wonderful place for your children to learn, play and interact with one another in a safe, loving and Christian environment.
