Habitat for Humanity Glendora - The first Habitat for Humanity home in Glendora has been built, and Grace was a part of this community effort.  The house, which was framed at the summer's LA County Fair 2009 was dedicated on 22 January 2011.   The house is located at 252 S. San Jose, Glendora.  Grace was one of the many donors and supports for this project.  http://www.ci.glendora.ca.us/index.aspx?page=643

Walter Hovings Home – an outreach to individuals trying to change and make a difference in their lives.  Through annual contribution, Grace supports their strive to change.  Furthermore we invite them for Rally Sunday each year to show each of them support.  "http://sites.silaspartners.com/walterhovinghome.html".

Christmas Toy Drive – an annual event brings of  Joy and Happiness to girls and boys during the Christmas season through donations of toys and games.  "http://www.gracelutheranchurchglendora.org/Events/Christmas Toy Drive.pdf".

The Giving Tree – an annual event to bring Joy and Happiness to families during the Christmas season through donations of food and clothing.

Habitat for Humanity - Habitat for Humanity International in partnership with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans provides a unique relationship between the financial, volunteer and advocacy resources.  The relationship helps provided affordable-housing construction so that every man, woman and child can have a decent, safe and affordable place to live.  The integrated relationship in the past five years has resulted in the construction of nearly 1,500 homes in the United States.  The partnership also engaged approximately 450,000 volunteers who contributed nearly 3 million volunteer hours toward fulfilling Habitat’s mission.  Habitat and its homeowner families have built or rehabilitated more than 400,000 houses.  http://www.habitat.org/partnerships/corporate/thrivent_financial.aspx
