I just want to start off by saying that I am very excited to have the opportunity to do what I love doing which is working with children.  Since I first started helping my mom teach Sunday school at age 16, teaching kids has been my passion.   When I

 Some personal things about me are… I love life and love sharing my optimism with others. I come from a big family.  I’m the oldest of four kids. I am a very active person and love being outdoors.  I love to go running, swimming and hiking.  The mountains are my favorite place to be.  My favorite excursion this summer was going whitewater rafting with my dad in the American River.  If I had to sum up who I am in one sentence it would be that I love Jesus and want to share that with the world!   

 was 18 I began teaching the third and fourth grade Sunday school class on my own.  At the same time, I started my first job at Mervyns as a sales clerk, where I worked for two years.  After that I was given the chance to do a job that included my other passion dance.  For three years I taught dance to preschool age children for Webby Dance Company.  I worked in a wide range of preschools from Glendora to Fontana teaching dance.  It was during that time I knew I wanted to work as a preschool teacher.  So I began taking my child development classes at Citrus where I was working on my AA degree.  Just this June, I graduated from Citrus and finished my child development units.  Currently I am applying to nearby Universities to continue working on my BA degree.
