Welcome,
I am Mrs. Sally M. Burdick Dirctor of Grace Lutheran Preschool. I have been with Grace as Director since July 2006. I started my career in child development in 1988 as a two year old teacher and have since taught all of the preschool age groups and school age children as well. Having been in the classroom for many years before becoming a director in 1992, gives me a complete understanding of how hard our teachers work.
I have always loved children and love to watch the wonder in their eyes when they learn to do something for the first time.
I feel it is important to provide children with a loving qualified
staff, outstanding curriculum, and a safe, fun and happy place to be a child. Here at Grace Lutheran Preschool, we will always
love your child first and educate them second. I find that it helps them grow both socially, spiritually and academically.
I also feel that parents are a very important part of the learning experiences children have at school. I encourage parents and grandparents to visit us during the year to see your child in their school environment. If you have not been to visit us please stop by and see what we have to offer!
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to love your child.
Hello,
I am Ms. Elida Peralta and I would like to introduce myself.
I started at Grace in December of 2007 and
have loved every moment of it. I have been working with children since 1993 and teaching since 1998. I took my child
development classes at Citrus College and soon hope to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona.
I have always enjoyed working with the preschool
age children. I feel we have an important role in getting young minds started for a great future.
I have 2 beautiful girls: a
12 year old and a 2 year old. Even with a big gap in their ages, I love being a mom.
I enjoy my role as Assistant
Director. It is great getting to know parents and their children. I also teach computers and substitute for teachers when they
are out. I feel it is important that the children have consistency in their school experience.
I look forward to meeting
all of you and your children.
